Why would you want to do this? I have no idea. Well, maybe you just like the idea of it. If you already have email and it’s working for you, that’s fine. But, if you happen to want to change, we can do it.

Citizens of Wensley“POLICE and residents in Blackburn joined together to put the brakes on speeding motorists this week. This came after residents raised concerns about speeding motorists in the Wensley Road area of the town.”

Although I’ve never broken the speed limit on Wensley Road myself (never having been on it), but I understand how it can happen. You get in a hurry, you want to get somewhere, and you would like to be there - now. At the time it seems important enough to hurry. But I’ve been noticing that in the rush to get somewhere I often miss the joy of the journey. Indeed, I think I’ve spent much of my life wanting to be somewhere else. Well, that seems pretty sad and I’ve become pretty determined to slow down and enjoy the ride, and maybe even stop once in a while.

I started drywalling the foyer just before Christmas and was planning on finishing it up during time off between Christmas and New Years. But Danae was home from college and I wanted to spend time with her. I really wanted to get the foyer done but decided to postpone the work until Danae was back at school. I’m so glad I slowed down to consider what I would have missed. The time spent with my family was priceless. Danae goes back to school Monday and the foyer is still there. Now about enjoying the reconstruction process. Well, one step at a time.
