I found another one. This one is a 5″ x 7″

I found a small photo of Grandma Wensley recently and have done a bit of work to restore it. I’m sure many of you have seen it before. My original was quite small and faded. This one is 8″ x 10″. I don’t know when this photo was taken, but possibly some of you know. It looks like the photo on the table in the background is Francis. The way this photo captured Grandma’s easy smile, and peaceful expression draws me in. I had to share it with you.

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Wensley’s are some of my fondest boyhood memories. Grandpa was always fun, and Grandma was a treasure. The rumor is true; Bethany is engaged to be married. Bob and I are very excited. Matt Norris and Bethany Campbell were engaged a few months ago and have set the date for Saturday, August 25, 2007, in Orlando, FL. A little background information . . .
Bethany and Matt met while she was teaching 8th grade Georgia History in Thomaston, GA. Matt is a Language Arts teacher at the same school where Bethany was teaching. During Bethany’s first year of teaching, Matt was one of the teachers on the hall who helped her adjust to her new job. They became good friends prior to dating. Eventually, as often happens, they realized they had so many common interests, that they began dating.

Matt has 2 daughters, Allie (8) and Lindsay (4). The girls love Bethany and soon began encouraging Bethany and Matt to get married. After some time, Bethany and Matt found that the girls had the right idea. After the proposal, eventually, they set the date for their wedding.

As I stated previously, Bob and I couldn’t be happier. Matt is fitting right into our family and we are welcoming him with open arms. However, we are not only gaining a son-in-law, but there is a bonus package added…we become immediate grandparents! Who could ask for anything more?!!?

The new guy is Joshua Grasty. And…he’s Sandy’s guy. Yes. Sandy Wensley is ENGAGED!

We (Dan, Julie, and Danae) are thrilled. Joshua is a wonderful young man, and we’re blessed to be welcoming him to our family.
